The importance of your Standard First Aid Accreditation

Why is it important for coaches to be Standard First Aid certified? Don't wait till your SFA accreditation has fully expired, go for a refresher and get it renewed to ensure your SFA certification does not lapse.

COVID has previous placed a halt on many events and trainings ongoing, including Standard First Aid (SFA) training sessions. We understand many coaches' SFA accreditation may be expring within these few months. The good news is many of the SFA training providers are back in operation and an even better news is there are SFA Refrsher Course E-Learning for NROC coaches out there available.

Welcome Back to the Gym

The Singapore Gymnastics community is thrilled to return to the gym, tomorrow, 19 June 2020 after the circuit breaker with - of course, certain mandatory safety measures to be in effect upon resumption of services. SINGAPORE GYMNASTICS FACILITIES TO REOPEN ON FRIDAY, 19 JUNE 2020

All gymnastics facilities in Singapore will have the ability to reopen on Friday, 19 June, 2020, in line with the Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s announcement that Singapore will move into Phase Two after 18 June 2359 hours. In Phase Two, gymnastic facilities can reopen with certain mandatory safety measures to be in effect upon resumption of services.

SG Pilot Learning Facilitator Course done

COVID-19 undoubtedly changed the landscape of how we deliver coaching courses, pushing us to integrate technology into the physical nature of coaching. It has been a steep learning curve but an exciting one as it takes us one step further in the space of educational technology and remote coaching, starting with our Learning Facilitator Course.

SG & Affiliated Clubs working hard to reduce Return To Gym risks

Ready, Set, Go! We are in the Ready stage of planning & preparing. Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is working with affiliated clubs to ensure that we can reduce all the Return To Gym risks within the individual gym facilities around the transmission of the coronavirus. Ensuring that their facilities are ready to meet the challenge and help reassure members — and staff — that their environment is safe, providing peace of mind and clearing a path towards a new type of normalcy.

Singapore Gymnastics Psychology Programme

Singapore Gymnastics is very proud of the newly implemented Psychology programme for its athletes at the National Training Centre. The programme was developed by the team at Singapore Sports Institute (SSI) and National Youth Sports Institute (NYSI) and is an adaption of a Final Year Project by students from Temasek Polytechnic. This programme is a sequential and ongoing educational programme that will build a creative positive environment, along with resilient high-performance athletes.

Having a license to deliver KinderGym, Australia's most successful movement-based learning experience programme, Singapore Gymnastics is thrilled to announce that the KinderGym Passport is ready to be distributed to all affiliated clubs.
