On the 1 Dec 2018, Saturday morning, Singapore Gymnastics held its annual GymFEST and Gym Challenge at Arena@OTH, Our Tampines Hub.
On 1st December 2018, a total of 24 Men’s Artistic Gymnastics National Training Centre athletes and 3 coaches – Ryosuke Kusumi, Desmond Cheng and Park Giyong embarked on their 16 days training camp in Brisbane, Australia.

SG is pleased to release the first draft of the Singapore Levels Program for feedback! These documents illustrate the available pathways for WAG gymnasts in Singapore as well as the draft skills in the Levels pathway.
In conjunction with the review of the WAG National Program, Singapore Gymnastics is calling out to all aspiring and current national judges to fill in an indication of interest form. This includes existing national judges who are interested to be trained and certified for the new WAG National Program.
The CoachSG Conference this year will be held on 31st October 2018 and 1st November 2018, and will have a theme which focuses on our local context - "Coaching Better Every Day: Made In Singapore ...". For the conference this year, they will be looking at our local athletes' and coaches' achievements from the past and present. These successes will then be evaluated using the Coaching Pedagogy, Coaches' Professional Development, Character and Leadership in Sport and Sports Science and Technology.
At the 2018 Youth Olympic Games held in Bueno Aires, gymnasts from the various disciplines (Acrobatics, Rhythmic, Men’s Artistic, Women’s Artistic, and Trampoline) have been drawn into 12 teams of 13 gymnasts each. These gymnasts will compete as a multinational and multidiscipline team, with each team comprising of gymnasts as follows:
Through the partnership with Republic Polytechnic, the Fundamentals Gymnastics course is now an integrated course, integrating contents from SG-Coach Level 1 (theory) as well as Values and Principles in Sports (VPS). Participants who pass this course successfully will be able to get their National Registry Of Coaches (NROC) provisional membership, subject to attaining their Standard First Aid (SFA) certification.
From the 7-10 October 2018, WAG Gymnast Tamara Anika Ong represented Singapore at the 3rd Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires. She competed in the Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor events over the past 4 days, and here are the results:
