Once you have registered yourself as a member, you can then register and make payment for the event.
The Fundamental Coach Accreditation is the minimum requirement for coaching in gymnastics. The Fundamental Coach will gain the skills and knowledge to assist in preparing and coaching gymnastics sessions involving fundamental movement and gymnastics skills.

Course structure |
There are three parts to the Fundamental Coach Accreditation • Pre-course workbook • WADA certification • On the job training (10 coaching hours) • Fundamental Face to Face Course (competency assessment) • First Aid Certificate (responsibility of individuals)

Duration |
Course duration will vary based on the time it takes to complete the Pre-Course workbook and On the job training: • Fundamental Pre-Course Workbook, with assessment task & multiple-choice type questions • Fundamental Face to Face Course – combination of theory & practical 3 days/24 hours • On the job training – a minimum of 10 hours coaching

Cost |
• The Course Registration fee which includes the technical membership fee for new Technical Members in the first year • First Aid Course (at the expense of individuals)

Assessment |
All assessment takes place during the face to face course: • Submission of the Fundamental Workbook, with assessment tasks and 100% in the multiple-choice type questions in the workbook. • Fundamental Face to Face Course – successfully complete practical assessment tasks at face to face course
The workbook must be completed PRIOR TO DAY 1 of the course. |

Career outcomes |
A SG Development Coach can coach fundamental gymnastics skills in a Club or other gymnastics venue. Based around the SG Proficiency Awards Programme the Development Coach can coach recreational classes without saltos.
Or work as an assistant coach working under supervision, coaching any of the following gymnastic disciplines Men’s, Women’s, Gymnastics for All (Recreational), Rhythmic and Trampoline |
