What is the greatest challenge you have faced in your sporting career? How did you overcome that?
A few years ago I sprained my ankle during training and had to go through a competition enduring the pain. That caused my ankle injury to worsen, so I had to stop doing Floor Exercise and Vault for a very long time. It was frustrating that my training was affected. I had to go through many sessions of physiotherapy and acupuncture before I started to recover gradually. I had to work doubly hard thereafter to catch up on my skills. It was a slow and painful process, but patience, perseverance and trust in the rehabilitation process saw me through this challenge eventually.
