Club Member

Club Members are gymnastics associations, clubs and businesses in Singapore registered with

• the Registrar of Societies (ROS)
• corporate or business entities registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA),
• recognised as Gymnastics clubs, that are willing to observe the rules and regulations of SG
• paying the prescribed yearly subscription fee
• actively engaged in Gymnastics and delivering the sport to schools and to the general public
• a minimum of 25 registered Athlete Members with SG (both competitive & non-competitive)

If a club has less than 25 registered Athlete Members with SG, this club will be recognised as an Associate Club. 

Affiliation benefits

Affiliation with Singapore Gymnastics brings a club a wide array of benefits, both on the floor and in the office. Only affiliated Clubs have access to recognised coach and judge education and industry training. Only affiliated Clubs can provide their members with a full range of opportunities to participate and compete in gymnastics in all its forms. These benefits are also tied to the Club Quality Assurance Programme. 

• Access to firsthand up-to-date information that includes technical updates from FIG, AGU, SEAGCON, SNOC, SSC and other gymnastics/sports bodies
• Eligibility for entry into competition
• Eligibility to be displayed on SG club finder
• Official Yearly Annual Certificate of Membership and CQAP status (Hardcopy)
• Voting rights
• 1 x Advertisement for coaches on the SG website per calendar year
• Eligibility to be a registered deliverer of the ActiveSG KinderGym Program
• Complimetary full access to Club Congress workshops

How to become an affiliated Club Member

The Club Affiliation process occurs annually at the start of each calendar year and Clubs are required to comply with National Affiliation Standards and Terms and Conditions for the year.

2025 Club Membership - $270.00/yr (clubs with 25 athlete members)
2025 Associate Club Membership- $400.00/Yr (Clubs with less than 25 athlete members) 

To renew/register affiliation:

• Read through the Club Affiliation Manual (updated November 2024)
• Be a legally registered entity.
• Actively engaged in Gymnastics and delivering the sport to schools and to the general public
• Agree to abide by SG's rules and regulations.
• Documents/ Declarations required to SG:

• • • Form A - List of club officials to receive SG comms 
    • Form B- List of club coaches 
    • Form C - Commitment to Standard of Care Agreement
    • Form D - Name of appointed Safeguarding Officer 
    • Form E - Child Safe Sport Commitment Template (self-edit and to be uploaded on club website)
      
    • Form F - Safeguarding Risk Matrix
    • Form G - SG National Affiliation Standards 
    • Form H - SG Membership Consent Clause

• Comply with safety and risk management guidelines
• Pay the prescribed yearly subscription fee
• Fulfill Club Quality Assurance Programme requirements to be recognised as a star rated club

Please note there is a processing period of between 3 - 4 weeks. All club-related membership application and processing (including technical membership) will temporarily cease starting from 3rd week of February onwards and will resume starting April each year.
