Bishan, Singapore – November 2, 2024 — Bishan Sports Hall buzzed with excitement as more than 140 young gymnasts from five clubs took part in this Novembers Gym Challenge, a lively event hosted by Singapore Gymnastics. With participants spanning a range of skill levels, the event offered a fun, inclusive setting for each child to test their abilities, showcase their new skills, and foster teamwork.

The Gym Challenge featured eight engaging stations, designed to encourage teamwork and camaraderie among participants. This inclusive setup allowed each child to tackle the challenges alongside their peers, fostering a supportive and spirited atmosphere.

Participation from ActiveSG has surged, from 28 participants in the March Gym Challenge to 65 participants this November, highlighting the growing enthusiasm for gymnastics among young Singaporeans.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony that celebrated the effort and enthusiasm of all participants. Rather than ranking the young athletes competitively, Singapore Gymnastics awarded medals to every participant, creating a memorable experience and encouraging ongoing engagement with the sport.

The success of this year’s Gym Challenge highlights the increasing enthusiasm for gymnastics across Singapore, setting a strong foundation for the sport’s future.
