19th Asian Games in Hangzhou

The Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics team participated in the 19th Asian Games (SEAG) held in Hangzhou. The competition runs from 23rd September – 8th October 2023. The athletes comprised of Terry Tay, Nadine Nathan, Kaitlyn Lim, Shandy Poh, Emma Yap, Katelin Heng, Mikayla Yang, Sophia Ho, and Pebbyl Ang. Their results are as follows:

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG)

  • Terry Tay: 12.066 on Floor Exercise

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Team (WAG):

  • Nadine Joy Nathan
    • 15th Individual All Around (Qualified to IAA finals in 10th)
    • 11th on Vault
    • 15th on Uneven Bars
    • 9th on Balance Beam (Qualified to Beam finals in 8th)
    • 32nd on Floor Exercise
  • Kaitlyn Lim
    • 18th Individual All Around (Qualified to IAA Finals in 13th)
    • 23rd on Uneven Bars
    • 11th on Balance Beam (First Reserve for Beam finals)
    • 27th on Floor Exercise
  • Shandy Poh
    • 24th Individual All Around (IAA)
    • 27th on Uneven Bars
    • 27th on Balance Beam
  • Emma Yap
    • 27th Individual All Around (IAA)
    • 33rd on Uneven Bars
    • 35th on Balance Beam
    • 17th on Floor Exercise


Due to Nadine’s withdrawal, Shandy competed in IAA finals and Kaitlyn in the Balance Beam finals. For IAA, Kaitlyn and Shandy finished in 12th and 16th position respectively. Kaitlyn also finished in 8th on the Balance Beam.

Rhythmic Gymnastics Team (RG)

  • The team placed 7th with a score of 251.800.

    • 17th Individual All Around (Qualified to IAA finals in 14th)
  • Katelin Heng
    • 20th Individual All Around (Qualified to IAA finals in 17th)
  • Pebbyl Ang
    • 21st Individual All Around

Mikayla and Katelin competed in IAA finals and finished in 13th and 18th position respectively.
