Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is delighted to launch the 2020 annual report. The last year has been a challenging year forcing most people to adapt to new realities, SG, however, continued to focus on increasing the growth of the sport while also increasing focus on exceeding high-performance deliverables.

In 2020, SG recorded 971 athlete members in over 24 clubs. As the governing body of Gymnastics in Singapore, there is an inevitable need to produce an increased number of highly valuable and educated coaches, judges, volunteers and administrators. Such a goal cannot be obtained without the support of Sports Singapore (SportSG). We look forward to continuing to work with the community to increase our club engagement and overall participant growth in the future.

The financial year also saw face-to-face events in wake of the Covid-19 crisis. These events did not only provide the opportunity for athletes to compete but to recognise the unifying power of sport and the importance of solidarity.

2020 had been difficult, but 2021 is full of possibilities!
