In light of current developments and the associated extensive measures to contain the coronavirus, not to mention our duty of care towards the gymnastics community, it is with a heavy heart that Singapore Gymnastics has decided to cancel this year’s Summer Cup and September’s Face-to-Face and Virtual Competition.

We believe that in a global health crisis, we are only as strong as our most vulnerable. It takes extreme prudence in prioritizing what matters, a decision that proves to be more and more difficult everyday.

The safety of the athletes is paramount. As much as our hearts desire to open the stage for the 2021 Summer Cup and September’s Face-to-Face and Virtual Competitions, we would not want to jeopardise an athletes health with them competing ill-prepared due to the current training restrictions.

Singapore Gymnastics will continue to provide the experience that the community expect and deserve in a safe environment through the following events:

• • 2021 Gymnastics Carnival - 13 -14 November – GymFest, Gym, Gym Challenge and MAG (Foundation, Level 1 and 2), WAG (Level 1 and 2) & RG (Kinder and Level 1)

• • 2021 Singapore Gymnastics Classic – 4 & 5 December – MAG, WAG, RG & TRA – FIG and high levels only

• • 2021 Virtual Competition - 6-12 December – all disciplines & all levels

Singapore Gymnastics acknowledges these new restrictions imposed by the Government and recognise the impact that these will have on our affiliated Clubs, the heartbeat of our community.
