The long wait is finally over! After two years of restrictions and battling the pandemic, we were finally able to open our doors to host both international competitors and spectators at our – Singapore Open! We welcomed over 1,500 spectators over the 8 days of competition, and over 685 gymnasts representing 8 different countries – Australia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore. With 46 clubs from across the globe, each worked hard to prepare their gymnasts and these competition routines amidst the uncertainty and their splendid performances reflected their tenacity. Singapore Open 2022 was an eye-opening experience for both the clubs and athletes, with many remarkable moments and performances during the long-awaited and exciting week. 

This event and operations were only made possible by the participation of the clubs, Sport Singapore, and our partners. At Singapore Gymnastics, we would like to also express our utmost gradtitude to our amazing volunteers for their dedication, hard work and commitment to ensuring a safe and successful event. Additionally, we would love to give a special shoutout to our Team Leaders namely – Kwang-Ling Kho, Rabia Muir, Serena Wong, Narendra Kumar Naramsetty, Elaine Ho,  Julia Chan, Shuan Ho, Koh Yoke Chiew Joyce and Rochelle Bidad for their assistance in this event.
