On the 16th of July 2023, Singapore Gymnastics proudly organized and hosted its highly anticipated Annual Awards. The prestigious event took place at the Black Box Auditorium, marking a significant milestone as it celebrated its sixth consecutive year of recognizing excellence and achievement within the gymnastics community. In a memorable evening filled with excitement and camaraderie, attendees were treated to a showcase of remarkable accomplishments and dedication.

Singapore Gymnastics (SG) has formulated a comprehensive policy and process for the Annual Awards, complete with well-defined criteria. The aim is to acknowledge and commend clubs that exemplify best practices and innovation, as well as recognize the exceptional achievements of athletes, officials, and volunteers who have made significant contributions to the sport of gymnastics in Singapore.

Nominations for each category are received from various SG members, including SG Affiliated Clubs, SG Board of Directors, Technical Advisory Council Members, SG staff, and registered members of SG. To ensure fairness and thorough evaluation, a selection panel is assembled. This panel comprises Technical Directors from each Technical Advisory Council (TAC), along with a staff member and a Board member. Together, they diligently review all the nominations submitted.

Each year, the success of the Annual Awards relies heavily on the active participation of SG members who submit nominations. We count on the engagement and involvement of our members to put forward deserving candidates for the various award categories. Their contributions play a crucial role in shaping the recognition and appreciation of outstanding individuals and clubs within the gymnastics community. Without their nominations, the Annual Awards would not be possible.
