Published Tue 29 Nov 2022

This year, between 29 October – 06 November 2022 the city of Liverpool hosted the World Gymnastics Championships. With over 550 gymnasts from 75 countries competing at the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, made it one of the largest international sporting events ever to be held in the city.

We are proud to have had Nadine Joy Nathan, represent Singapore at the 2022 World Artistic Championships. Attracting a substantial worldwide audience, the atmosphere was electric as the world's best gymnasts went head-to-head in displays of poise, power, precision and artistry over nine action-packed days. It was a global gymnastics event; an unforgettable experience.

Nadine has earnt her title of the WAG Team Captain through her hard work, dedication and resilience over the past 15 years. Her last World Championships campaign was in Doha in 2018 and after four years away from this level, she made the most of the opportunity. It was an amazing learning experience for Nadine as she works towards qualifying for World Championships next year in 2023 and then hopefully earning a spot in Paris 2024.

Great work Nadine, we are proud that you continue to perform to the best of your ability every time you fly the Singapore flag!

Her competition results are as follows:

Vault: 12.566 and 12.133

Uneven Bars: 11.3

Balance Beam: 10.666
