The CoachSG Conference this year will be held on 31st October 2018 and 1st November 2018, and will have a theme which focuses on our local context - "Coaching Better Every Day: Made In Singapore ...". For the conference this year, they will be looking at our local athletes' and coaches' achievements from the past and present. These successes will then be evaluated using the Coaching Pedagogy, Coaches' Professional Development, Character and Leadership in Sport and Sports Science and Technology.
The keynote speakers for this year's CoachSG Conference will be as listed below:
- Dr Ric Charlesworth, Citizen of western Australia, Officer of the Order of Australia, AO.
- DR Chow Jiayi, Associate Dean, Programme & Student Development.
- Vern Gambetta, Director of Gambetta Sports Training Systems.
For all NROC registered coaches, attendance at this conference will give Continuing Coach Education(CCE) hours. Any NROC Level 1 coach requires 30 CCE hours in 3 years to maintain their NROC membership. More information on CCE can be found in the link show below.
