Topic: Gym Workshop #2 - Positive Parenting Interaction for Coaches

This interactive workshop will build on the Positive Psychology knowledge discussed at the last coaches workshop to explore the relationship between coaches and parents of their athletes. The workshop will examine what parents are looking for and how coaches can proactively create an environment where the parents both feel part of their child's athletic journey but at the same time understand their role and how this differs from that of the coach. The workshops aims to empower coaches to positively manage parents to ensure the athlete receives consistent and positive messages from both the coach and their parents.
