Singapore Gymnastics are asking for expressions of interest for a proposed tour to New Zealand in April next year.
The focus of the tour will be on professional development for coaches who work in, or aspire to work in, High Performance. Coaches currently involved in the Singapore Gymnastics Development Programme, or equivalent level, would be prime candidates.
The tour will revolve around the PacRim gymnastics competition, incorporating MAG, WAG, RG and TRA.
The proposed schedule is to depart Singapore on the evening of the 13th of April and returning a week later. Two days will be spent in Auckland, focussing on a range of high performance aspects, then heading to Tauranga for Podium training and the competition, where there will be a focus on preparation for, and performance in, major international competitions.
The entire tour will be built around specific learning outcomes and will include projects and reflection, as well as meeting and sharing with international experts in high performance and gymnastics.
