Singapore Gymnastics is thrilled to welcome back Silviya Miteva-Yaneva, an international icon in rhythmic gymnastics, as she joins us this November as the lead RG Technical Expert for our Rhythmic SGDP Camp. With her extensive competitive and coaching experience, Silviya will provide invaluable insights into advanced technical practices for coaches and gymnasts alike.

Silviya Miteva-Yaneva: A Legacy of Dedication and Achievement

Silviya’s remarkable journey in rhythmic gymnastics began in 1992, culminating in an impressive 8th place All-Around finish at the 2012 London Olympics. Her illustrious career includes multiple World Championship and European medals, with highlights such as bronze in Ribbon and Clubs and a Grand Prix Final gold in Ribbon (Berlin 2013). Today, as an International Brevet Judge and FIG Academy Level 3 coach, Silviya serves as an FIG Coaches Academy Expert, empowering young athletes and coaches worldwide.

SGDP Camp and Workshops: Elevating Technical Skills and Coaching Excellence

Taking place from November 26–29, the SGDP workshops offer coaches a unique opportunity to deepen their technical knowledge, connect with peers, and enhance their coaching practices.
