Calling all local Singapore Gymnastics (SG) accredited level 1 RG/ GG coaches –
SG would like to invite you to participate in the upcoming FIG Level 1 RG Coach Academy held in Singapore!
1) Dates
- 3 July (evening) – official opening and information session
- 4-10 July – course and examination
- Course timings are generally stretch over the entire day, for the duration of the course

- $710 SGD per pax for the entire course. Includes meals, coffee breaks and closing dinner
4) Eligibility
- Possess at minimum, GG Coach Level 1 OR SG RG Coach Level 1 valid accreditation
- Must be a Technical Member of SG
- Must be a Singapore Citizen
5) Future Plans and Additional Information
- Do note that the possession of FIG Academy Level 1 for minimum 1 year is the pre-requisite to do Level 2 of the course.
- Non-Singapore citizens could be eligible to participated in the Academy, but this is subject to
- Seeking approval and getting their home country’s Federation to register them when registrations are open
- Vacancies
- The SG RG and GG Coach Level 1 will likely be held in Sep 2018. Please make arrangements to attend these course(s) if you haven’t already done so. Reason being, from National Championships 2019 and onward, coaches will be required to be Technical Members of SG AND possess minimum SG Coach Level 1 accreditation in order to enter the Field of Play (FOP).
6) How to Apply

- Application deadline: 14 May 2018, Monday
- Interested participants must apply and be nominated by their Technical Advisory Council (TAC) to attend the academy. The TAC reserve final say over the coaches nominated to attend. Final participation is subject to the availability of slots.
- Late registrations will not be accepted. This is to allow time for the TAC to make their decision. SG also requires time to create the nominated coach profiles on the FIG portal.
