1st December 2018, Saturday – GYMFEST 2018

On the 1 Dec 2018, Saturday morning, Singapore Gymnastics held its annual GymFEST and Gym Challenge at Arena@OTH, Our Tampines Hub. A total of 160 gymnasts from various gymnastics clubs participated in the Gym Challenge.

Singapore Gymnastics would like to congratulate the participating gymnasts for achieving the gold medals for completing the Gym Challenge, WELL DONE!

Many participants stay back to try the ‘Come N Try’ Session, which is open to the public for complimentary trials. Participants were able to get hands-on experience on the various gymnastics’ apparatus, and to try out some of the basic gymnastic skills.

Mdm Adeline Cheong, a retired housewife commented that it was an interesting experience and she was amazed even at her age, she can complete the basic gymnastic skill, truly gymnastic is for everyone and she can’t wait for Singapore Gymnastics Elder Gym to start.

The highlight of the event was the GymFEST performance by RG NTC teams, D’Gymnastics Academy and Agape Rhythmic Gymnastics. Each team had to perform in front of our invited judges and it was a tough battle for them to battle out for the awards.

GymFEST and Gym Challenge was a great success, and this is only possible because of the participating gymnasts, supporting parents and heart-warming volunteers.
