Introducing our second line up for the High Performance Symposium & Master Class – Lisa Bradley & Peter Abbott (WAG)

Lisa Bradley

Lisa has extensive skills in choreography and matching movement to music. These skills have been developed through years of coaching, training and professional engagements such as:

  •  More than 15 years as Head Coach of RG High Performance Centre programs in WA and VIC, Australia
  • Choreographer for the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) WAG program
  • Choreographer (full time) for the Gymnastics Australian National Centre of Excellence – Melbourne
  • Choreographer for the GA WAG National Team
  • Freelance/contract routine development and choreography for High Performance WAG programs, and GA World Championship WAG squads
  • Freelance/contract routine development and choreography for RG programs in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA and NZ
  • Lecturing for Gymnastics Australia and New Zealand Gymnastics
  •  Music Seminar for FIG Academy Experts (2015) – Aigle, Switzerland
  • Choreographer of the current WAG Australian Levels Program compulsory Floor and Beam routines

One of Lisa’s most notable achievements impacted on the current trends in Women’s Gymnastics internationally when in 2011 she was instrumental in the successful submission to the FIG to consider bonus point values for pivot connections in routines. The submission formed part of the 2013-2016 FIG Code of Points. Lisa was also the Olympic Coach in 2004 of Australian rhythmic gymnasts Penny Blackmore.

Peter Abbott

Peter has been a part of the Australian Gymnastics Team for the past 23 years. He has worked with both the Men’s and Women’s National teams and has coached athletes on Australia’s Olympic, Commonwealth and World Championship teams. Peter currently holds a FIG Brevet in both Men’s and Women’s Gymnastics (one of only a handful worldwide to attain both disciplines) and was a former FIG Men’s Brevet Judge from 1996 to 2016. He has been working primarily with the Australian Women’s team for the last 10 years and has contributed to the coaching of National Team members such as Lauren Mitchell, Emily Little and more recently Georgia Godwin and Rianna Mizzen. Peter plays a pivotal role in the development of Australia’s next generation of National Team athletes, being noted as National Master Coach for Australia’s Junior and Development programs.

360 Gymnastics is a brand-new Club founded in October 2017 and is owned by Pete Abbott & Lacie Jones. As partners Pete and Lacie share a lot in common with their passion and drive for the sport of Gymnastics, so early in 2017 they decided to commence their life long dream of owning and running their own gymnastics club.
