We are super excited to announce that Singapore Gymnastics is partnering with Matthew Scholes from Positive Sports Coaching to bring technical members a 4-part series workshops across the year!

Friday, 26 February, 10am - 11.30am -  *Registration now open*

 

Topic : Positive Psychology and Sports Coaching - Wellbeing, Resilience and High Performance

This workshop will examine the science of positive psychology and how understanding your athlete's brain responds to feedback can lead to coaching strategies that build both wellbeing and performance in pressure situations. Coaches will receive will be provided with evidence based approaches that they can incorporate into their coaching to enhance their athlete's ability develop resilience and thrive in competitive environments.

The other upcoming dates are listed as below, with exciting topics in development:

  • Friday, 25 June, time TBC
  • Friday, 27 August, time TBC
  • Friday, 29 October, time TBC

To attend these 4 workshops are absolutely free of charge to all 2021 Technical Members and for those who attends all 4 workshops, they can enjoy up to 10% off technical membership in 2022.
