Supporting Students with Special Needs: Schedules, Routines, and Visuals for ASD and ADHD, by APSN.

Led by Special school educatorsan, this one-hour session is designed specifically for educators, caregivers, and anyone passionate about empowering students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

In this workshop, we will explore the immense impact of schedules, routines, and visual supports in the lives of students with special needs. Discover how these simple yet powerful tools can create a world of difference by providing structure, predictability, and independence for our learners.

Fueling to optimise the health and performance of gymnasts by Alexiaa Sim, PhD

This presentation will cover essential nutritional strategies and issues related to gymnasts, to enhance their performance and optimise overall well-being. As gymnastics is a highly demanding sport, requiring exceptional strength, flexibility, endurance, and mental grit, it requires proper nutrition to support performance and health. Practical tips including what to eat before, during, and after training, to maximise energy levels and minimise fatigue, meal planning, hydration strategies, and promotion of healthy eating behaviours, will be covered

Keep your eye out for more workshop topics and speakers coming up, registration for congress will be opening soon!
