This is an update from the 5th Board Meeting, held on Thursday 20 January 2022.

1. The Board reviewed and approved the amendments to the following Major Games Selection policies for all three disciplines pending the selection events dates being included:

1. SEA Games Amended Selection Policies
2. 2022 Commonwealth Games Amended Selection Policies
3. 2022 Asian Games Amended Selection Policies

2. The Board discussed and evaluated the sponsorship/fundraising targets for FY22/23 setting this at $100k, after noting that the target for FY21/22 of $70k will be achieved.
3. The Board were briefed on:

1. The SG Education Framework where the philosophy and overall framework was presented along with current status and plans.
2. ActiveSG KinderGym Programme where the intent, benefits and partnership arrangements were presented, along with some of the interim measures being put into place to ensure long term success of the programme and support from SportSG.

4. The financial statement as of the 30 November 2021 were presented and the budget forecast continues to indicate that SG are within budget with a forecast deficit of approximately $18k. There will be a budget reforecast by end January, when the accounts are finalised for end of December 2021, with indication that the deficit could be reduced.
5. The Board had a brainstorming session to suggest fundraising ideas and opportunities for 2022. These will be deliberated by the Fundraising & PR Sub-committee in their February meeting as they develop a 2022 Fundraising plan. The Board would like to look at activities that can raise funds, while also uniting the gym community.
6. The next Board meeting will be held on 10 February 2022.
