Published Fri 15 Nov 2024

We are thrilled to introduce the upcoming session on Strength-Based Performance Profiling at this year's High-Performance Symposium. Scheduled for 25 November, this interactive workshop will be led by Hansen Bay, a renowned expert in coaching and mental resilience. Hansen will guide participants through the principles of a strength-based approach to performance assessment, showcasing how focusing on an athlete’s unique abilities can foster motivation and bolster mental resilience.

What Coaches Will Gain from This Workshop

In the workshop, coaches will:

  • Debunk common misconceptions surrounding strength-based coaching, allowing for a fresh approach to developing athletes' potential.
  • Explore the core principles of a strength-based coaching philosophy, emphasizing autonomy and personalized development.
  • Implement the latest performance profiling techniques (Castillo, 2022) to facilitate strength-based conversations with athletes, making assessments more meaningful and empowering.
