ActiveSG Gymnastics Academy (AGA) in collaboration with Singapore Gymnastics (SG) conducted our first ever KinderGym School Holiday Programme (SHP) between 14-16 December 2021 at three of ActiveSG Sport Centre after a long hiatus. The SHP is a teaser to the start of the 2022 AGA’s KinderGym seasonal programme at 3 locations: namely Seng Kang Sport Centre, Jurong West Sport Centre and Bishan Sport Centre.

A total of 40 children ages between four to six years old registered and participated in the programme conducted by our certified KinderGym coaches and staffs who were all hands on deck to ensure that the children are learning in a safe environment.

The children get to move to the groove of the music as their warm-up, practice on static shapes and animal walks, go on circuits targeting on the dominant movement patterns like locomotion, object manipulation and spring and landing. Lastly, a cool down of games and stretches. The coaches enjoyed interacting with the children and had as much fun together getting the children to learn new skills and become better.

Let’s hope that more children will participate in this fun filled programme to better their physical literacy as well as to be more physical fit!
