MAG TAC Organise Informative Workshops for the New COP!

In preparation for the implementation of the new Code of Points (COP), which will take effect on January 1, 2025, the Men's Artistic Gymnastics Technical Advisory Committee (MAG TAC) is organising a series of workshops. These workshops aim to ensure that coaches, athletes, and judges are well-informed and fully prepared for the changes. The goal is to have the entire gymnastics community ready for the upcoming Classic in November 2024.

Workshop Schedule

1.    Workshop for Coaches on Changes in COP
This workshop designed for National Squad Coaches - coaches working with FIG Junior and Senior athletes.

Date: Saturday, 17th August 2024
Time: 7:00 – 10:00 PM
Venue: Online
Cost: $20
Continuing Coach Education (CCE) hours will be available for NROC Coaches attending this session.

2.    Presentation for Gymnasts on COP 
National Squad Athletes are encouraged to attend this session. This presentation aims to help gymnasts understand the new COP, which is crucial for their performance in competitions. The workshop will gain valuable CCE hours as well.

3.    Level 3 Judges Course 
This Judges Course is targeted for former National Team Athletes interested in perusing the FIG Judges Course in 2025.

Date: 21st and 22nd September 2024
Time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Venue: Bishan Sports Hall

4.    Workshop - Presentation and Practice for Current FIG Judges 
This workshop is designed specifically for current FIG judges who are preparing to attend the FIG judging course in the 16th cycle.

Cost: $25
