This is an update from the 8th Board Meeting, held on Thursday 4 May at NSA Meeting Rooms, Sport SG.
- The Board approved the following policies:

- P003 Bursary Policy
- 2022 Artistic Asian Championships – Men’s Artistic Gymnastics
- 2022 Artistic Asian Championships – Women’s Artistic Gymnastics
New selection policies:
- 2022 Trampoline World Championships
- 2022 Trampoline World Age Group Competition
- The Board approved the following Board representation at the 2022 affiliate meetings:
- Teo Siew Hong – 2021 SEA Games & SEA Zone meeting
- Ho Mun Wau – 2022 FIG Congress
- Clarence Yap – AGU Congress
- The Board approved the 2022 Charity Dinner for the 31 August 2022 to be held at YWCA Fort Canning.
- SG has been shortlisted as a potential winner for the Charity Transparency Award (CTA) 2022 and therefor has qualified to enter the Charity Governance Awards (CGA) 2022. These awards, an initiative of the Charity Council, aim to promote and acknowledge good transparency and governance in the charity sector.
- The Board reviewed the results from the annual Board self-evaluation conducted in January and is committed to work on best practises in governance, professional development of all Directors while looking to utilise Directors’ skill sets in key focus areas. Based on the survey results, the Board agreed that moving forward, more time will be allocated on strategic discussions during Board meetings, ensuring a balance of focus on governance and strategic discussions.
- The Board reviewed the current organisational structure to ensure it is aligned with the new strategic plan and that appropriate resources are being allocated to the strategic areas of focus for the next 4 years.
The next Board meeting was held on 6 July 2022.
