Over the next few weeks, we are going to introduce you to our current Directors who have key positions on the Board who are working tirelessly behind the scenes to look at key ways that we can build reserves by diversifying and increasing revenue streams for SG so we can continue to thrive and deliver on the long term strategic plan.

Our first Director introduction is none other than President Dr Patrick Liew who is no stranger to the Board room, with many years of experience in leadership and governance.

Dr. Patrick Liew MBA, MSc, BSc is the Executive Chairman of GEX Global Group. He is also a founder of Success Resources, arguably the largest seminar organiser in the world. Through his team at Success Resources, Patrick has organised educational conferences for many prominent leaders such as President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister Tony Blair, Michael Porter and Richard Branson, just to name a few!

His Linkedin in profile is rich with experience and commitment, listing Patricks’ involvement in many professional and charitable organisations where he provides leadership and advice. He is actively involved in supporting humanitarian, philanthropic, and charity causes.

He served on the Singapore Wrestling federation for 8 years, becoming President in 2016, only stepping down in 2020 as he had fulfilled his term limit. Patrick believes we all have a part to play in building the sporting culture in Singapore and advocates the benefits of sport in strengthening key life skills and character in people!

While Patrick is known as a leader in the Board room and an award-winning "chronic" entrepreneur, he is also a man with a heart of gold!

He has a passion for gymnastics, taking it up at the spritely age of 53. Knowing that gymnastics is the “‘nursery for all sports.” he strongly promotes the benefits of gymnastics towards physical literacy for our next generation of Singaporeans!
