Monday, 2nd March to run VPS course for Gymnastics Coaches

Dear Coaches,

We understand many of you are trying to complete your Values and Principles in Sports (VPS) from before but the slots in Republic Polytechnic (RP) were all full. Together with RP, we have pulled together a special workshop for coaches who needs to attain their VPS to complete their NROC. Course runs on Monday, 2nd March, registration is now open and closes on Tuesday, 25th Feb.

Course fee $50 (incl of GST) Payment may be made using SkillsFuture Credit.

Nearer to the course start date, you would be given an account to the rp.ispringlearn.com portal and you would need to upload TWO assignments to the portal by 2 Mar 2020  (Monday , 11:59PM).

-        [During/After class] Coaching philosophy (trainer will go through this during the courses)

 

*Please read and follow the instructions in WADA anti-doping course instructions to obtain your COACH TRUE certificate. We highly recommend you to do it before coming to the class as it takes up to 2 hours to complete.

Once trainer passes your assignments online, your VPS certificate will be emailed to you. If you fail, miss the submission deadline, or submit the wrong assignment, you will need to re-take the course so do clarify any doubts you have with the trainer during class.

Just a reminder to participants who might be attending this course being held in SportSG office, we will be following SportSG and MOH health and safety guidelines to ensure vigilance and a safe working space for all. 

Please note:

1. All visitors cannot come into the office through the side doors and MUST register with Security at the main lobby.

2. Temperatures will be scanned at the lobby.

3. Singapore Gymnastics will be sending out a travel declaration form to participants prior to their attending of SG events. At the main lobby, visitors will have to complete SportSG's travel declaration form as well.

4. Should anyone feel unwell or have fever, cough, runny nose or other flu-like symptoms, we encourage social responsibility to visit the doctor and not attend the event.

5. For participant attending courses that may include practical sessions, hand sanitisers will be provided. Participants can bring along their own masks if necessary.
