Registrations for the 12^th Singapore Gymnastics National Championships 2020 opened last Monday.

The details to register for the Championships can be found on our website. Early bird registrations close on the 30^th January 2020 and regular registration on the 13^th February 2020. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any late registrations, so we do encourage everyone to send in their registrations as soon as possible as we really do not like turning late entries away.

Please note that there is no need to fill in membership number in the National Championship registration form. We apologise for any previous confusion caused. 

We do encourage all clubs, schools, athletes and coaches to be familiar with the National Competition Policy 2020. The policy outlines competition eligibility, withdrawals and refunds. Some key points to note and remember are:

• Individual parents and/or athletes are not able to register or pay direct to SG to enter & compete at National Championships. Registration for National Championships MUST be submitted by a currently affiliated SG club meeting the 2020 National Affiliation Standards or a registered school with MoE or a current Full Member with SG.  Therefor all competition entries must be approved by the club, school or Full Member that the gymnast is representing. Singapore Gymnastics will not accept or process any individual registrations that are received by parents.

• All clubs, coaches and athletes will need to be current and financially paid up members of Singapore Gymnastics before the close of registration on the 13 February 2020 to participate in the 2020 National Championships.

• Clubs by the close of entries on the 13 February will need to have meet the 2020 Affiliation Standards:
  • Have completed the online 2020 Club Affiliation Form
  • Paid the 2020 Club Membership fee
  • Have 20 athlete members registered in the National database by the close of registration
  • Have adopted and published the Club Child Commitment Statement
  • Signed off on the Club Commitment to Standard of Care and Child Safety

• All coaches wanting to be involved and on the field of play at the 2020 National Championships will need to be an accredited coach registered on 2020 with Singapore Gymnastics and be listed on the National Registry of Coaching (NROC).

• Only athletes who have registered directly through Singapore Gymnastics online database in 2020 are eligible to compete.

• The competition is open to all athletes that are Singapore Citizens, or Singapore Permanent Resident, or who have currently resided in Singapore for a minimum of 6 months. This has been the case since 2018.

• To be eligible for a refund for a withdrawal from National Championships, notification of the withdrawal needs to occur 21 days prior to the start of the Competition and refund will only be granted if accompanied by a medical certificate.

Once we have received your entry and checked the details our finance team will raise the invoice.
