Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Participation Officer, Ms Sim Shilin who will be managing the ActiveSG Gymnastics Academy KinderGym Programme.  Her background and experience in Sports Science, Sports Management and Coaching will certainly bring valuable knowledge and experience to SG and she will be working closely with our Community Development Manager.

Singapore Gymnastics, in partnership with ActiveSG Gymnastics Academy (AGA), Shilin will be instrumental in expanding the KinderGym Programme to a wider audience across more ActiveSG Sport Centres around the island, with the programmes delivered by our affiliated clubs. The KinderGym programme is specifically designed for children 0 to 6 years old and encourages learning through exploration and discovery, which helps in the development of the child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive abilities. 

Some other key areas in her role include:

1. Bridging the connection between Singapore Gymnastics, affiliated clubs and ActiveSG
2. Working with affiliated clubs to support the implementation of AGA and SG participation programme and its delivery
3. Delivering professional development opportunities to upskill and support delivery partners
4. Managing communication around SG and AGA participation programmes
