In the absence of competitions events in 2020, Singapore Gymnastics (SG) wants to continue commending the outstanding contribution(s) of athletes, officials and volunteers for their involvement in gymnastics in Singapore.

Every year SG reviews the Annual Awards and looks to include and embrace more of the amazing efforts of the people in the community. SG wishes to acknowledge and recognise gymnastics clubs and coaches in Singapore modelling best practice and innovation, especially through these trying times of Circuit Breaker.

As such, certain award categories linked to competition performance and/or participation will not be presented in the 2021 Awards Function.

Singapore Gymnastics will be calling for nominations for a number of special awards for 2020 to recognise and celebrate the resilience of our community through the Covid-19 pandemic.

a. Club of the Year (Innovation in Safe Management Measures Implementation)

b. Outstanding Coach of the Year (Virtual Engagement)

c. Outstanding Coach of the Year (Resilience)

d. Athlete Leadership Excellence

e. Athlete Diligence Excellence

How to nominate?

For the Club and Individual Awards

1. Be reminded that you will only be selected based on your 2020 contributions, except for Life Member nomination.

2. Take note that all nominees must be Singapore Gymnastics members and Singapore Citizens and submit a Powerpoint slide of themselves to be showcased at the function.

3. You can nominate online via https://form.jotform.com/SingaporeGymnastics/2020AnnualAwardsNominations

4. *Life Member nomination can only be done manually by submitting the application form found in the policy to our office.

5. Nominations close on Friday, 29 January 2021.
