In December 2022, our MAG Seniors and Juniors attended a two-week NTC Korea Training Camp that was held from  4^th Dec – 18^th Dec in Jeonju and Seoul.. The team which comprised of 7 athletes includes: Terry Tay, Kaeson Lim, Zac Liew, Kho Tong-Yu, Asher Pua, Abdul Barr and Jovi Loh.

We are glad that our athletes were given such an opportunity to venture outside of Singapore to gain some insightful experiences, that will come in handy as some of them turn senior and junior this year. The main purpose of this training camp was to allow them to gain overseas exposure, to understand how to adapt to different training environments, to be independent. Lastly to see how Gymnastics is in one of the top Gymnastics’ country, Korea.

The team worked closely alongside Mr Kim, from Jeon-buk Middle and High Sports School for a week. At Singapore Gymnastics, we would like to extend our gratitude to Mr Kim for having the team and for also sharing his experiences and knowledge with us. Our juniors also had the opportunity to train alongside Hanwool (15), who is currently the Top 3 junior athlete in Korea. The seniors also had the opportunity to train with Jeonju Pro Team.

On the second week, the team had the chance to train in Korea National Sport University (KNSU) alongside with the top gymnasts in Korea like

Ryu Sunghyun, Park Seung Ho and Kim Jae-ho.
