Park Hayan has joined Singapore Gymnastics’ Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Training Centre coaching team!

Coach Park supports the ideals that building confidence, self-esteem, discipline and a sense of commitment and pride in their team and themselves will help athletes be more prepared for the international stage. Furthermore,  Park stands by the philosophy that a good basic is essential in the development of all gymnasts as this will be the athletes’ springboard to stepping up to another level. Her goal is to build a strong foundation of physical literacy in an environment that keeps the athletes interested and motivated.

She started coaching after her retirement from South Korea’s National Team in 2013. Park has worked with athletes in Korea, from Developmental to FIG Junior.

As one of the top-performing gymnasts of the National Team, Park consistently finished on the podium during domestic competitions. Her team landed a 2^nd place finish in the Asian Championships 2008 while then athlete, Park Hayan, shined in the Individual Apparatus Final on Floor Exercise and came in as 2^nd place winner.
