The Singapore Gymnastics (SG) Board of Directors, approved the "Prevent Competition Manipulation Policy" on 26 August 2021.
SG is committed to ensuring the principles of integrity and fairness are upheld in competitions and or events in the sport of gymnastics at all times. SG considers the practice of Competition Manipulation of a competition and or event where a participant, athlete or team is provided with an unfair advantage unacceptable.
Where Competition Manipulation is defined as the attempt to control the outcome of a competition or alter the natural course of the competition. SG, has a zero tolerance for inappropriate betting on competitions and/or events and the practice of Competition Manipulation.
This policy is in line with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions adopted in December 2015 by the Olympic Movement.

The conduct prohibited under this Policy may also be a criminal offence and/or a breach of other applicable laws or regulations. This Policy is intended to supplement such laws and regulations. It is not intended, and should not be interpreted, construed or applied, to prejudice or undermine in any way the application of such laws and regulations. Relevant Persons must comply with all applicable laws and regulations at all times.
SG recognises that a large proportion of persons covered by this policy will be under 18 years of age. Therefore SG urges anyone to whom this policy applies and particularly those under 18 years of age to seek advice from a parent or other adult on how the policy operates and what it requires of you.
