As of 2025, all coaches who are on the field of play will need to have an Intermediate Discipline-Specific Coaching Accreditation (Equivalent or above) as well as the prevailing requirements of a Technical Member for the year. For coaches who do not hold a Fundamental and Intermediate Coaching Accreditation, this will be your last chance to become accredited if you wish to be on the field of play moving forward.

The Fundamental Coaching Course Accreditation stands as a pivotal requirement for coaching in gymnastics. A Fundamental Coach will acquire essential skills and knowledge in preparing and leading gymnastics sessions involving fundamental movement and skills for beginner participants. This course is seamlessly integrated with SG Coach Level 1 Theory and Values and Principles in Sports, jointly conducted by Learning Facilitators from both Republic Polytechnic and Singapore Gymnastics.

Registration for the last Fundamental Gymnastics Coaching Course of 2024, which will take place on October 19, 20, and 27, 2024, is now available. Interested individuals can register for the course through Republic Polytechnic's website. Registration closes on September 22, 2024.

Individuals interested in the Intermediate Coaching Course can register their Expression of Interest for the course in January 2025. The expression of interest is now open. You can still register your interest even if you don't currently hold a Fundamental Coaching Course accreditation!
