Singapore Gymnastics, in collaboration with the RG Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and the dedicated Working Group, has officially released Version 2 of the RG National Programme 2025 & Beyond. This update marks a significant step forward in delivering a high-quality and progressive programme, ensuring that Singapore remains at the forefront of rhythmic gymnastics development.

Collaborative Effort and Community Engagement

The release of Version 2 follows an extensive period of consultation and feedback from the rhythmic gymnastics’ community, which has been instrumental in refining the programme to better meet the needs of all involved.

Key Updates:

  • Improved Guidelines: The updated programme, Version 2, includes clearer and more detailed guidelines which clarify some ambiguous areas, particularly focusing on athlete transition and apparatus requirements..
  • Comprehensive Resource Package: A comprehensive resource package, including a manual and videos of the levels skills, will be released in October. This package aims to provide additional clarity and support, ensuring that all questions and concerns raised by the community are addressed.
  • FAQ Section: An FAQ section, developed directly from questions submitted by coaches and athletes, has been included in the update. This offers immediate answers and guidance, helping to facilitate a smoother transition to the updated programme.

Encouragement to Participate in the Coaches Congress

To provide further support during the transition period, Singapore Gymnastics is encouraging clubs to enrol in the upcoming Coaches Congress. This event will offer detailed sessions on the updated programme, with a particular emphasis on understanding the Levels aspect and how to develop routines that meet the required standards of technical skill and artistry.

The Coaches Congress is seen as an essential opportunity for coaches to gain hands-on experience and to receive expert guidance on implementing the new National Programme effectively within their clubs.
