Enhancing Rhythmic Gymnastics Judging Standards: RG Judges Courses for 2025 and 2024 Workshop on the new Code of Points (CoP)

Singapore Gymnastics is excited to announce a series of Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) judges courses for 2025 and a workshop that provides an update to key people on the FIG Code of Points (CoP) for 2025-2028, aimed at elevating the standards of judging in Singapore. These initiatives are a vital step toward ensuring consistency, accuracy, and fairness in the evaluation of our athletes, and they represent our commitment to fostering excellence in gymnastics.

 

FIG Code of Points (CoP) 2025-2028 Update: To ensure that our current FIG judges and National Squad coaches are well-prepared for the upcoming competitive cycle, we will be holding a CoP update session on 21st October 2024, from 7pm to 10pm. This session is designed to provide critical insights into the new FIG rules and guidelines, ensuring that our judges and coaches are aligned with the latest standards for the upcoming competitioins.

2025 RG Judges Training Courses: In addition to the CoP update, we are offering a series of judges courses in 2025 for different levels to enhance the skill set of both new and existing judges. The courses are designed to provide comprehensive training, from foundational knowledge to advanced judging techniques.

 

 

  • Level 2 Course (for current Level 1 judges):
    • Course Dates: 8th February (9am - 5pm), 10th February (6:30pm - 10pm)
    • Exam: 12th February (6:30pm - 10pm)
    • Registrations will open on 1 November 2024

These courses will be led by experienced instructors to ensure consistency across all levels of judging. By participating in these courses, judges will not only gain the necessary qualifications but also contribute to raising the overall quality of RG judging in Singapore.

 

Registration for these courses will open on the 1 November 2024, following the completion of the reaccreditation courses.
