Objective

To judge all compulsory routines e.g. Kinder, Level 1-5.

To judge all FIG optional individual routines (i.e. Stages, Level 6 and 7 etc.) as judge D3/D4, E1-6.

Topics Covered (tentative schedule)

• Day 1: Introduction, general deductions, ideal model of body difficulties, Kinder - Level 2
• Day 2: Level 3 - 5
• Day 3: Theory and practical exam

• Day 1: Individual Dynamic Elements with Rotation (R), Apparatus Difficulty (AD)
• Day 2: Individual Execution and Artistry
• Day 3: Theory and practical exam

Course Eligibility

• Open to the public, all are welcome!
• Minimum turning 15 years in 2020

• Current National Level 1 Judge
• Must have judged a minimum of 3 competitions as a Level 1 Judge
• Minimum turning 16 years in 2020
• Must be a current Technical Member of SG

• Read through Technical Handbook 2020 available here

• Printed copy of your own FIG Code of Points
• Writing materials
• Notebook/ rough paper for judging practice

Additional Information

• Minimum 80% attendance is required for the course (on top of passing the exam) to receive accreditation.
• For full NROC coaches, this course may be counted towards your CCE hours.
  • Each level of course, regardless of the year offered, may only be counted once towards one’s CCE hours for a maximum of 10 hours.
• Retakes (practical exam only) are only permitted in the case that one passes theory but fails the practical. Only 1 retake is permitted per accreditation course at a date set by SG.

• Minimum 5 exam-taking sign-ups are required for each course to take place. Email confirmation will only be sent out after registrations close.
• No fees payment required if not taking exam, but participation will be subject to class size limitations.
• All SG policies will apply to these courses, including our Refund Policy.
• Ex-NTC athletes may take the course FOC as long as it occurs within 12 months of leaving the NTC. Please email rg-sdm@singaporegymnastics.org.sg for the promotional code to waive course fees.
• Please ensure that you fill in your personal details including address correctly as that is where the course certificate (upon passing) will be sent.
