Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is conducting a new gymnast recruitment selection trial for our National Training Centre (NTC) Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) High Performance training programme.

Objective: To identify and induct talented individuals who have the potential to represent Singapore at major games (South East Asian Games, Asian Games, Olympic Games etc.) and international championships.

Members of the public/ gymnasts will be put through a series of testing stations conducted and assessed by our RG Recruitment Committee. The stations will only be revealed on the day of the trial.

1) Eligibility Requirements

• Singaporean Citizen
• Aged 10 years in 2018 (i.e. born in 2008)
• Female
• Not necessary to have background in RG

2) New Gymnast Recruitment Timeline

• Phase 1 Trial – 1-day selection on 3 November (FOC)
• Phase 1 Results – By 10 November 2018
• Phase 2 Trial – 1-week training from 19-24 November (FOC)
• Phase 2 Results – By 25 November
• Offer of Official Position (paid training to commence upon acceptance)

3) Phase 1 Trial Details

• Date: 3 November 2018, Saturday
• Time: 2-7 pm
• 45min to 1-hour time slots within the above timing will be allocated after registrations close
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your assigned slot timing
• Venue: OCBC Arena Hall 1B

4) Phase 2 Trial Details

• Dates: 19-24 November 2018 (inclusive)
• Training Times:
• Mon – 430-830 pm
• Wed – 4-8 pm
• Fri – 430-830 pm
• Sat – 9-1 pm
• Venue: Bishan Sports Hall
