Dr. Patrick Liew, President of the Singapore Gymnastics, has been honored with the Service to Education Award by the Singapore Ministry of Education.

The Service to Education Award is bestowed upon individuals who have volunteered their time and expertise to support schools in their community.

Dr. Liew has made significant contributions by working closely with principals, staff, and students to enhance school programs, promote student well-being, and foster collaboration between the school and the community.

Dr. Liew also serves as a member of the Board of Councillors at Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California, allowing him to give back to his alma mater and contribute to the success of future educators.

In his own words, Dr. Liew emphasized the importance of education, stating, “The starting point as well as the ending point of success in sports and other endeavors is education.”
