Singapore Gymnastics Announces Women's Artistic Gymnastics Technical Advisory Council for 2024-2025

Following the appointment of the Men's Artistic Gymnastics (MAG), Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG), and Trampoline (TRA) Technical Advisory Councils in early February 2024, Singapore Gymnastics is pleased to announce the Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Technical Advisory Council for the period of 2024-2025.

The WAG council, along with the MAG, RG, and TRA TAC councils, will advise and support the National Office, reflecting SG's strategic approach to the sport's future.

Key Functions of the Discipline Councils:

  • ·         Align with SG's Objectives: Collaborate with the National Office to meet SG's goals.
  • ·         Provide Technical Direction: Guide the gymnastics community in line with SG's strategy.
  • ·         Implement Policies: Execute technical and operational policies from the National Office.
  • ·         Prepare Technical Regulations: Submit regulations for approval, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • ·         Coordinate Events: Manage technical regulations at SG events for consistent execution.
  • ·         Formulate Programmes: Develop and promote programmes aligned with SG's vision.
  • ·         Support Judges and Coaches: Offer guidance to enhance their contributions.
  • ·         Maintain Community Communication: Ensure open communication with the gymnastics community.

 

These TACs play a key role in supporting the National Office to elevate gymnastics standards in Singapore, promoting excellence, safety, and participation over the next two years.
