It's that time of the year again - SG Club Visits 2021 are back and in full swing!
This year, club visits will be commencing from 18 August to end of September and we already have at least 12 clubs scheduled. We hope to visit as many affiliated clubs as we can to not only catch up on how they are coping during these fluid times recap and reivew what has been discussed during last year's club visit to share with them what Singapore Gymnastics has been doing to address those issues and what other actions are in the pipeline. Besides a recap and review on past items, it is also for clubs to expand on items they want to talk most at the present times. It is also the perfect opportunity for us to introduce our newest member of the team, our Participation Officer Shilin, to the rest of our community.
Based on data recorded in our online sports club management system, we are able to pull out statistics to personalise club visit decks for individual clubs which gives a clear picture of who their listed club officials are, their total SG-registered athlete numbers broken down into specific age groups as well as technical members who are registered with Singapore Gymnastics. It is important for clubs to be aware of where their coaches are at so that they can support and develop them further.
A big piece of this year's club visit agenda is the sharing of the Singapore Gymnastics Club Quality Assurance Programme (SG-CQAP). Its concept has been shared verbally over the last 2 club visits and we are really excited to be able to produce a piece of document that details the SG-CQAP. In short, the SG-CQAP is developed as an approach to long-term success through customer satisfaction and benefits to all members of the organization and society. This involves improving processes, products, services, and the culture in which they work to achieve 3 key objectives:
Safety |
Quality |
Sustainability |
Along with the structure of SG-CQAP, we will also be sharing tools and resources for clubs to evaluate their current positioning, plot their direction, make a plan and action it towards greater growth. Singapore Gymnastics would be there to assist to the best of our abilities so that together we can all move onwards and upwards.
As we enter the final quarter of the year, clubs can consider taking part in many of the upcoming events in particularly the Gym Carnival, the Virtual Competition as well as the Singapore Gymnastics Classics.
A sneak peak of what clubs can expect in 2022 has also been included in the club deck and agenda.
