Athletes selected during the upcoming National Championships will be integrated into the FY24/25 National Squad from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Qualifying for the National Squad ensures athletes' eligibility for potential selection to represent Singapore during this specified period.

Objectives of National Squad Selection (Part A)

Identifying Potential: The primary aim is to pinpoint athletes with the potential to excel at designated events, guided by the Event-Specific Criteria.

Recognition through Results: Recognition is given to top-ranked gymnasts in the FIG Senior and Junior categories, achieved through outstanding performances at the annual Singapore Gymnastics National Championships.

2024 National Championships Schedule and National Squad Announcement

The announcement of the Artistic National Squad is scheduled for March 10, following the IAF finals for Junior and Senior categories. Simultaneously, the Rhythmic National Squad will be revealed on March 17. Notably, this year marks the inaugural selection of a Trampoline National Squad, with the announcement set for March 16.

Since its establishment, SG has consistently organised athlete induction sessions, recognising the importance of creating a cohesive and supportive environment for gymnasts. In 2024, SG is enhancing its commitment to athlete development by introducing Coach/Club Induction sessions and National Squad training.
