Singapore Gymnastics (SG) continues its strategic initiatives in enhancing the sport's standards and direction with the appointment of Technical Advisory Councils (TAC) for the various disciplines. Following the successful appointment of the new TACs for MAG, RG, and TRA in January 2024, SG now shifts its focus towards appointing members for the Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) TAC.

The search is on for dedicated individuals within the community who are eager to contribute to and drive the sport forward, especially amidst its growing popularity and participation.

In 2017, SG introduced discipline-specific Technical Advisory Councils to maintain the integrity of gymnastics, improve performance and participation, and provide technical guidance. These councils, comprising experts in their respective fields, are instrumental in supporting SG's strategic and operational goals.

The newly appointed WAG TAC members will serve an 18 month term from July 1, 2024, to December 31, 2025. SG anticipates that the introduction of this council will further elevate gymnastics standards in Singapore and foster increased participation in the sport.

If you possess the necessary skillsets and share a profound passion for gymnastics development, SG encourages you to apply for the WAG TAC membership. Applicants must be current Technical Members with SG. The deadline for applications is May 6, 2024.
