Singapore Gymnastics Virtual Competitions

Covid-19 has affected all our lives, with lockdown and current restrictions and all major sports events were either cancelled or postponed. Throughout the crisis, Singapore Gymnastics has been working closely to ensure priority is focussed on physical activity, well-being, and social development. Singapore Gymnastics has been working hard to adapt, adjust and continue in a positive direction, finding ways to stay positive in these uncertain times.
To continue to engage our hardworking competitive athletes, Singapore Gymnastics would like to introduce the 2020 Virtual Competition!
The virtual competition is SG’s initiative to reach out to the community to come together digitally, to continue to practice sport whilst pandemic.
The idea for the Singapore Gymnastics Virtual competition was born with the goal of bringing the opportunity to compete back during the pandemic. Not as a temporary solution to the cancellation of sports events, but as a positive opportunity to move forward and bring us all back together.

Select the level and category for each of your gymnasts, and start coaching those routines. Anytime you are ready between the 27 November 2020 and the 6 December 2020 film all your gymnasts' routines, not forgetting to hold up the ‘Competition Password Symbol’. If you do not like the first attempt, delete it and try again. We want to see your athletes best, so you can re-record the routines as many times as you want within the ‘Competition Window’, and only send us the best. It’s that easy. |
2. Upload |

You’ve trained hard, captured amazing routines on video, now they need to be uploaded. Your club will register your entry and upload your videos, its that easy!. That’s it, you are now entered and ready to challenge the best in your category. |
3. Results |

| After SG Virtual Competition closing date, the allocated judges will then work tirelessly for a week judging all the routines. After 1 week all the results will be compiled and published on the SG website. |

Competition Window |
The first-ever Singapore Gymnastics Virtual Competition entry will open on 04 November 2020, 1300H and close on 25 November 2020, 2359H. During this time you will be able to practise, practise, practise. On the 27 November 2020 at 1300H, we will release the “Competition Password Symbol”, with the video submission of all your routines due on the 6 December 2020, 2359H. This will be your ‘competition window’ – a period of time where you will be able to record your videos showing a competition password symbol. |
