Discipline Councils - we want you!

In 2017 Singapore Gymnastics established Discipline Technical Advisory Councils for each of the following disciplines:

• Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG)

• Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)

• Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG)

• Trampoline Gymnastics (TRA)

The main purposes of the discipline specific Councils are to:

• Maintain the integrity of the sport and utilise each Council’s technical expertise to ensure the discipline is a high profile, growing and vibrant sport in Singapore,

• Improve performance and participation in safe quality programs,

• Provide advice and assistance on all technical matters of their discipline in support of SG achieving its strategic and operational outcomes.

Singapore Gymnastics currently has vacancies on the TAC’s and are looking to recruit new and interested members to join us as we continue the terrific work already being done in growing and promoting the amazing sport of gymnastics and its many disciplines!

We would also like to establish the Gymnastics for All TAC who will work with the SG staff to implement participation initiatives such as TeamGym, Free style and Senior Gymnastics, while further developing GymFest with the aim of fielding a team at the 2023 Gymnaestrada being held in Amsterdam!

The term for all council members will be: 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020
