At the same time, we recognise we have a range of athlete members who may have different participation goals hence we are now offering a tiered membership for the different groups of athletes members with different access to participation opportunities.

Technical Membership

We have refreshed all the Individual Members webpages for a cleaner look, in particular for Technical Members.

Technical Members can now upload their Standard First Aid and Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach online module by themselves onto the SG platform. It is important to have accreditations renewed, current and updated on both the Singapore Gymnastics platform as well as the NROC Sport Sync portal as these are sperate platforms coordinated by sperate agencies.

As guided by Sport Singapore, all coaches must complete the Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach online module to be actively coaching and this is one of the accreditations necessary to maintain your technical membership. For Technical Coaches who have completed this online module, your certificate of completion has been recorded under Accreditations in your SG member account. For those who have not start on it, we encourage you to go through it and submit the certificate of completion to SG early so that the team will have time to process and record this under your accreditation. More information about the module and how to upload can be found via https://www.singaporegymnastics.org.sg/news/understanding-safe-sport-as-a-coach/

Club Membership vs Associate Club Membership

As per constitution, clubs must have a minimum of 25 registered athletes members with SG to be recognised as a Club Member. For more information about club membership, please visit https://www.singaporegymnastics.org.sg/membership/club-membership/

For clubs with less than 25 registered Athlete Members, they can register with SG but they will be recognised as an Associate Club and paying at the Associate Club rate, which will be higher than the regular club membership. Associate Clubs will still be able to participate in SG events but will have limited benefits and cannot be part of Club Quality Assurance Programme. When an Associate club subsequently have more than 25 registered Athlete Members with SG, SG can offer a credit rebate so that these clubs are upgraded to regular club membership and enjoy the same rate.
