Technical coaches to update their accreditations to be on Field Of Play

As a Technical Member, it is important that the following FOUR mandatory accreditations are present in particular for coaches participating in SG competitions and events to go down onto the field of play.
- Coaching and/or Judging accreditations
- Up to date Standard First Aid*
- Active NROC Membership*
- Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach*
*does not apply to technical members who strictly judges only
We encourage technical members to log in to your SG member account (see below) and ensure that the mentioned mandatory accreditations are reflected and up to date.
To update and/or upload items 2-4, you can do so via https://www.singaporegymnastics.org.sg/membership/technical-member/ under “Additional Resources & Information”.

1. Coaching and/or Judging accreditations |

2. Up to date Standard First Aid* |
|
Valid Standard First Aid is necessary for any Technical members who are coaching. This includes Judges who are coaching. Technical members who are strictly judging only do not need Standard First Aid. As part of accreditations, any Technical members who are actively coaching must maintain a valid Standard First Aid accreditation. Your Standard First Aid must be updated on BOTH
Your Standard First Aid should include both theoretical examination and practical assessment including AED, CPR and bandaging of wounds as stipulated by Singapore Resuscitation And First Aid Council |

3. Active NROC Membership* |
|
Please note that NROC membership registration is separate from SG. NROC application is self-initated via Sport Sync Upon successful application of NROC, please upload your NROC e-card to SG via Singapore Gymnastics Technical Member page |

4. Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach* |
|
This online module is compulsory for any Technical members who are coaching. This includes Judges who are coaching. Technical members who are strictly judging only need not complete this online module.
As guided by Sport Singapore, all coaches must complete the Understanding Safe Sport as a Coach online module to be actively coaching and this is one of the accreditations necessary to maintain your technical membership. For Technical Coaches who have completed this online module, your certificate of completion has been recorded under Accreditations in your SG member account. For those who have not start on it, we encourage you to go through it and submit the certificate of completion to SG early so that the team will have time to process and record this under your accreditation.
