Calling all accredited MAG and WAG Intermediate coaches (aka Level 1 coaches)!
Singapore Gymnastics (SG) is excited to announce that we are hosting the Federation Internationale De Gymnastique (FIG) MAG/WAG Level 1 Academy for coaches in Singapore once again.
The FIG Academy is an International Coaches Course and certification series conducted by international experts that is held several times a year around the world. The Academy Programme is discipline specific and consists of three levels of coach education - each of which is an 8 day course packed with about 8 to 10 sport science and coaching modules focusing on athlete-centred best practices.
This year, MAG/WGA Level 1 FIG Academy will be held from 22-29 June 2019 (inclusive) at Sports Hub venues.

- Application Deadline: 29th May (moved from 1st June)
- Please note that Expression of Interest does not equate to confirmation of registration. All applications are subject to the approval of SG and the relevent Technical Advisory Council (TAC).
- Confirmation/ rejection of application will be sent out to all applicants after the application deadline closes together with further details (e.g. detailed schedule, payment procedure etc.) if available.
- Eligibility
- Must be a current Technical Member of SG.
- Must possess either a MAG/WAG Intermediate Coaches accreditation or MAG/WAG Level 1 Coaches accreditation (old system).
- Must be a Singapore Citizen.
- Non-citizens may take part in the Academy but have to liaise with, get approved and registered by their own Federation. Do contact the email address listed below if a letter of support from SG is required.

- WADA (World Anti-Drug Agency) Compliance
- All applicants must have completed the online elite-level module of CoachTrue at the point of application. This consists of an online tutorial and post-test, after which the applicant will be awarded an e-certificate of completion.
- This is a one-time only requirement.
- The online course is available at the WADA website on the ADeL platform: https://adel.wada-ama.org/.
- During application, you will be required to upload your PDF copy of the CoachTrue certificate OR screen shot of test results in the appropriate field.
- Additional Information
- 100% attendance is required for the Academy.
- For full NROC coaches, this course may be counted towards your CCE hours (up till a maximum of 10 hours and claimable 1 time only).
